My story
Probably like you, I’m a multi-passionate person who wants to perform at my highest level. I’m a clinical psychologist and an executive coach specializing in human performance, behavioral science researcher, neuroscience geek, transformed lawyer, mom of two, and avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast.
I started out as a young burned-out tech lawyer in one of the largest law firms in the country. No matter how you sliced it, I was miserable. I LOVED working with my clients, but not the subject matter. I felt bored, stuck, and unfulfilled.
I believed that I was destined for something more.
Something beyond the typical measures of success.
Something meaningful.
Something incredible.
But I didn’t know how to get there.
I needed help and support. Yet I didn’t find it through anything I tried.
Do you also feel like you’re unfulfilled? Possibly followed the wrong path?
Or that it wasn’t wrong when you started it, but it no longer fits who you are now?
Are you seeking something more?
Not sure how to even clarify the ache, much less fix it? I know.
my aha moment
The therapist told me that I needed to just quit my job and accept that I’d likely have to change my standard of living. The executive coach tried to sell me a 6-month group program with lawyers who were trying to make partner, which was the last thing I wanted. The financial advisor told me I’d run out of cash in a year despite my commitment to budgeting.
So, I did my own research and made a plan.
I eventually left a multi-six figure job in a firm I liked and a place I LOVED, with a child and one on the way, to pursue my Ph.D. in clinical psychology.
And no, I didn’t run out of money. I also left my firm on good terms with no regrets.
Although I figured out how to do it on my own, I wanted to help people do this even better taking out some of the ups and downs.
Through my training in psychology, I became an expert in behavioral science, understanding why people do what they do and how I can help people learn to change their lives from the inside, out using evidence-based, proven methods.
I fulfilled my dream of becoming a fourth-generation entrepreneur and started my businesses, including this one where I am able to focus on coaching high-performing, multi-passionate people and those coaches and therapists who want to work with these amazing clients, but feel they are missing either the confidence or skills to get there.
I subscribe to Leonardo da Vinci’s philosophy…
My experience in law and business helps me to really “GET IT,”
and it helped me pursue my dreams.
It also gave me incredible confidence, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
My training in behavioral psychology and neuroscience
helps me offer research-based, sustainable, and powerful solutions.
My experience as a burned-out corporate attorney
helps me ensure that they are also streamlined, real-world, and pragmatic.
The ONE thing that each of these roles has in common is a focus on:
getting results
I’m fiercely dedicated to my clients and believe that they are the experts on the what and who (matters to them) and the why.
All of my experiences and education have helped me get here such that I know that I can bring the how to help my clients master a research-based framework that creates sustainable and powerful momentum for change from the inside out.
I feel incredibly blessed, yet I had what I needed inside me all along.
And you do too. You have everything you need right now.
I didn’t have the skills, and I learned them.
And I can teach you, and teach you to teach others, and you can do it all - no Ph.D. required.
You are the expert on the what and why of how this goes, and I’m going to help you master the how!
